How the mighty has fallen. Mel Gibson, the man we know as Riggs, Mad Max, William Wallace has decided the come back movie he will grace us with will be The Beaver.The Beaver is about Walter (Mel Gibson), troubled father and husband and CEO of a stalling toy company [who gives voice to] The Beaver, a glove puppet that Walter finds, starts to wear without pause, and adopts as a kind of avatar through which he carries out all of his communication. . I… I… I’m sorry but while writing this I’m crying a little. What happened to Mel? Is our favorite action hero really going to be a whiny freak with a puppet?

Over the last 5 or 10 years he has had many troubles and trails. As a devote Catholic he has found it O.K. to cheat on his wife, profess anti Semitic statements, and fall off the wagon. Now I’m all up for forgiveness but coming out with a touchy feely movie to garner some good will from the public is shameful. Jodie Foster is the director on this movie and will also costar. The last time Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson were together was in movie Maverick. Here’s some pics from the movie.
