Summit Entertaiment has set a release date for Roman Polanski’s (the pedophile and fugitive from justice) new movie “The Ghost Writer” starring Pierce Brosnan, Ewan McGregor, and Kim Cattrall. The official date is going to be February 19th. Polanski is currently under house arrest in Sweden awaiting extradition to the United States. Polanski fled from the United States over 20 years ago after the rape of a 13 year old girl while he was at the home of Jack Nicolson in March of 1977.

Summit is doing everything they can to avoid all negative publicity to no avail. Even though there is next to no publicity for the movie, Polanski’s name keeps popping up because of the ghastly crime he committed against the 13 year old girl.  They are being smart burying the movie in February. Traditionally February is where movies go to die.

 You are probably wondering why I keep bring up the rape he committed and not just talking about the movie. That reason is because before you spend one nickel on this movie you need to know who is going to profit from it. Even I believe that Polanski is a brilliant director, but he raped a 13 year old girl! No one should have the right to hurt a child and escape justice. By his own admission, Polanski said it wasn’t rape it was the times and she wanted it. As a father he makes me want to puke.
